I love the Scrapbooking business and have been in the industry for over 5 years. Many of you I already know, and the rest of you I hope to get to know soon!

I was raised with three sisters and now I have a beautiful wife and three daughters (and one son) of my own. I guess you could say "I am out numbered by women." I decided in order to please all women in my life I needed to create a Scrapbooking company with my artsy friend Peter Horjus.

The Scrapbooking world is new to me and I never imagined getting so caught up in it, though now it seems like a good fit because I have always loved the narrative in design and illustration and the opportunity in making colors, textures, words and images work beautifully together.

I graduated from Point Loma College in San Diego with a BA in Graphic Design. A year out of school I started Horjus Design & Illustration and have had the opportunity to work with some great clients over the years including Saks Fifth Avenue, Guess?, Disney, Barnes & Noble, and Coca-Cola. I am grateful to illustrate for these fine periodicals: Newsweek, Entrepreneur, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Washington Post.

It's exciting to be working with Larry Hermansen, a long-time friend, all around great guy, and marketing whiz, as we journey onward to live our long-time dream . . . to have a thriving business together by utilizing our individual talents and experience.

I find it an honor and a blessing to have our fine products in your stores, homes and treasured albums.
